Presentation of research results Recosal - Karasjok and Utsjok May 19th and 20th
The research projects RecoSal and DEATNU , led by the Finnish Natural Resources Institute (LUKE) and ending this year, are organising two discussion meetings on the most important results from the projects: assessment of the state of salmon stocks, the role of predation on salmon smolts and fry, the use of traditional and local knowledge in salmon stock assessment and decision-making, and the status and development needs of salmon planning and decision-making. We will also present and discuss advice for research and management.
