The Nature Mission
The purpose of the nature mission is to get children (and adults) out into nature and enjoy nature through exploring, discovering, sensing, playing and creating through nature in the local area.
The target group for the Nature Mission is kindergarten children aged 2-6.
The Nature Mission
The Nature Mission is a teaching program developed for kindergartens and is free to download and use.
In Nature Mission, kindergarten children receive assignments from Kåre Kråke, who gives the children tasks and asks lots of intriguing questions.
The assignments require little to no preparation, either pedagogically or in terms of equipment. The instructions for the assignments are easy to understand, so they are easy to complete.
Crow Crow
It is Kåre Kråke who gives assignments to the children. He is a curious crow, who is looking forward to exploring nature with you. He gives the children tasks and asks many intriguing questions.
Kåre Kråke will join you on a trip to solve the nature missions with you.
Mission
Assignments can be found on the Nature Mission website , they are available in Bokmål, Nynorsk and Northern Sami.
The assignments are divided into several different themes, such as birds, trees, and wetlands to name a few. After each assignment, you can also submit them, which will then enter the Nature Assignment competition, where the kindergarten can win prizes and diplomas.
If you have completed all the assignments and would like more, please contact our Nature Supervisor. Local assignments can then be created for the kindergarten.
Joddu also has activity booklets by Kåre Kråke that we hand out for free at our Visitor Center. Kindergartens are always welcome to visit us.
