Outdoor school in Tana July 14-17.
Would you like to do something fun and educational during your summer vacation? Wild Salmon Visitor Center is collaborating with Finnmark Outdoor Activities Council to organize Outdoor School again this year.
How about learning more about outdoor life and trying many different outdoor activities? Then our outdoor schools are right up your alley. We are holding an outdoor school in Tana from Monday, July 14th to Thursday, July 17th.
The outdoor schools are held over four days, from Monday to Thursday:
Monday: start at 09:00, finish at 15:00
Tuesday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Wednesday: overnight stay, arrival at 0900
Thursday: finished at 2:00 PM
Number of participants: 15
Who can join: Everyone aged 9-13
Equipment: Nothing else is required other than clothes and shoes for northern Norwegian summer days, as well as a seat pad, drinking bottle and daypack. The children need a packed lunch every day. During the overnight stay we prepare communal food, which the outdoor school pays for. It is important that you state any allergies or other considerations in the registration form.
Leaders: Our skilled leaders have knowledge about outdoor activities and being active with children and youth.
Participation fee: FREE
The program: Fishing, campfire and outdoor food, map and compass, first aid, swimming, nature trail, lasso throwing, spiking, camping, hikes, expeditions, overnight stays in tents and other fun games and activities in the open air. May vary slightly from outdoor school to outdoor school.
